Hey all, Regearing a 2011 silverado 8.625 gm 10 bolt. I'm on my second gearset now and I am determined to set this thing up correctly this time. The below is a Yukon 5 cut, 4.11 gearset mounted on a trutrac. I've set it up from 30 to 45 thousandths labeled in red on the pics. The odd thing is my eye tells me 40 thousandths pinion looks best on the drive side, and 30 thousandths looks best on the coast. Not sure im ever going to get a textbook set up on this thing... What do yall think?? All pics are at 7 thousandths +/- 1 on backlash, pinin depth noted in red on pic.
