Im installing a new GM Crate engine that i bought from my GMC dealer into my 2014 Sierra 1500, it has a L83 5.3L flex fuel engine, the old engine with 150K miles still ran good but had a miss fire on #6 Cyl. (Low Compression)... would you use the old Fuel Injectors or install new one's? Thank you for your advice Todd

Hello, I just ordered a new 2014 eco tec3 5.3 L83 new crate motor not rebuilt, does anyone know what is on this engine? Oil pan, oil pump? Timing cover? Harmonic balancer? Intake? Valve covers? Flex plate? Thank you, Todd

On my 2014 Sierra 1500 with a 5.3 L83 PO306 Spark is good but compression is 90 PSI... Would it be okay to recheck the compression with the lifters on #6 removed? will it hurt anything? Todd
