  1. Just an update, changed the oil with dexos rated oil. No change. Not sure if Im supposed to go back and replace all the same parts for a third time or not. I think Im giving up. The truck drives fine and Im not going to dump money into the same parts over and over.
  2. So if this is the case, what parts are broken due to the oil? The parts have been replaced and immediately the codes come back. What part of that system continues to be malfunctioning? If I were to change oil, what parts would need to then be replaced?
  3. 5w 30 and I last used the high mileage stuff
  4. So here's an update to this post. I have replaced everything I can think of and everything I've read online related to this code. I've replaced the sensor, actuator and magnet x2, the oil pickup ring, the oil pressure sensor, the brake pedal sensor, the fuel pump and the camshaft position sensor wiring harness as well as multiple oil changes. No luck, light still comes on. The truck has still never run poorly during all of this but the light continues to come on with the same codes.
  5. I'm having a real hard time finding the right wiring harness for the camshaft position sensor on my truck. Mine has 5 wires and all the ones I can find have only 3. Any help would be appreciated
  6. No fix yet. I am actually having a hard time finding the replacement wiring harness. I bought the one that was supposed to be for my truck but it is 3 pin and my truck has 5 pins. I also replaced a brake switch behind the brake pedal as I read that my be it...no avail. I'll continue to update if I find anything.
  7. Honestly I have no idea how or why they would be related either. The code that pops up in the system is P0011 which is the camshaft position sensor. EVERY time this code trips, the stabilitrak light comes on. Who knows why, but it seems pretty common unfortunately. I will have to start looking into the wiring.
  8. I'm not really sure what you mean. The p0011 code is the camshaft position sensor code. A quick Google shows that it frequently results in the stabilitrak light coming on at the same time. The fixes recommended that I can find start with the sensor, magnet and actuator and then the oil pickup o-ring.
  9. I have a 2007 GMC Sierra Denali with the 6.2l. It has about 190k miles on it. About the last 10k or so I have been dealing with the P0011 and the stabilitrak lights. I did several deep forum dives and have replaced the following. The position sensor, actuator and magnet....did not fix it. Then I dropped the oil pan and replaced the pickup o-ring....no luck. So then I decided to replace the magnet and actuator again (first time wasnt with OEM due to availability). After the last the oil pressure has been reading high (60-70) and the light stayed off....for awhile. Came back on today. Truck has NEVER driven poorly during all of this, but still throwing codes. I have no idea where to go from here. It seems this is a fairly common problem but not a straightforward repair. Any ideas are welcomed. Thank you!
