I have a 2019 GMC 2500 Denali 6.6. A couple months ago my passenger seat stopped working. I got to work on it slightly when it happened and never figured it out, now I have some downtime and trying to get it fixed. This is what I have done so far.
-I checked the 30amp fuse for power seats and it was blown. Replaced the fuse and it blew as soon as I hit the switch. Replaced again and had no power this time. Did some research on here of commons problems and found that one of the wires going to the switch gets rubbed and may be the issue. Checked all the wiring that was exposed and found a slight Nick in a wire. Fixed the wire and taped everything up and replaced the fuse and it worked for half a day and then stopped working but did not blow a fuse.
I read there is a circuit breaker that resets after the switch is unplugged for a while and that worked once. Now I’m lost and can not get the power seats to work.
-All exposed wires look good
-Drivers seat works perfect
-Heat/cooling seats work perfect in both seats.
-switch is working.
- I read it may be a module. Can the module cause issues like this. The only module I see is part #13510339. That shows heater controls module. Is there another one I’m missing.
-All fuses are good.
- Do I need to pull the seat and strip down all wiring and check or has anybody else ran into this issue.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks ahead of time
