    I’ve tried using the app as well. Can run the light test from my phone and it works fine. But is still the only thing that comes up on the screen in the cab. Haven’t actually towed with it yet, but it does seem like the trailer brake controller and gain functions work properly. The trailering app does look nice from the videos I’ve watched. Wish this thing would work!

    Negative. I’ve tried it everytime I’ve turned the truck off and back on. Always stuck on the light test screen. The light test does function as it’s supposed to on my trailer. But that’s it. And yes, if Marines aren’t bitching then you have to worry .

    I recently bought a 2020 1500 RST with the 3.0 Duramax. When I try to use the trailering app, it stays stuck on the light test screen. It won’t do anything else. I’ve reset everything to factory default and erased all user settings and it still doesn’t work. Am I missing something? Can this even be fixed? So far a little over a month of ownership and already had the rear window leak that had it at the dealership for a week and now this… I’m really starting to wonder how big of a mistake it was buying a GM.

    2020 Silverado with sliding rear window. Bought used 2 weeks ago with 19k miles. Day after leaving dealership the headliner was soaked and water pouring in during heavy rain. Dealer had it for a week. Did the TSB and so far has fixed the leak but with the way they gobbed sealant on the top of the window I can’t see how it won’t leak again…
