  1. I tore the truck apart again with it in brake service mode this time. It still throws the codes. Brake service mode just fully releases the parking brakes to allow you to do the rear brakes. It does not effect anything with the front brakes. You still have to disconnect the battery or clear the codes when you're done.
  2. Clearing the codes worked. I guess I'll disconnect the battery the next time I do any work on the truck.
  3. I have a 2019 silverado 1500 Trailboss Custom 4wd. I went to change my wheel bearing/hub assembly today (oreilly's gave me the wrong part so that was a huge waste of time). I reassembled everything, put it all back correctly, made sure the wear sensor was put back correctly, and I got a "BRAKE" light on the dash, an stability control light, and it went into limp mode. I tried disconnecting the battery for 15+ minutes, pumped the brakes, caliper pistons are pushing as they should, brake pad life seems to be reading correctly, but I still have the lights. I plan to grab a code reader tomorrow to try to reset it but I don't know what else it could be. Any ideas? Did I break the wear sensor or am I gonna have to give in and take it to a dealership?
