I have a 2019 silverado 1500 Trailboss Custom 4wd. I went to change my wheel bearing/hub assembly today (oreilly's gave me the wrong part so that was a huge waste of time). I reassembled everything, put it all back correctly, made sure the wear sensor was put back correctly, and I got a "BRAKE" light on the dash, an stability control light, and it went into limp mode. I tried disconnecting the battery for 15+ minutes, pumped the brakes, caliper pistons are pushing as they should, brake pad life seems to be reading correctly, but I still have the lights. I plan to grab a code reader tomorrow to try to reset it but I don't know what else it could be. Any ideas? Did I break the wear sensor or am I gonna have to give in and take it to a dealership?
