My wife has a 2020 Silverado 1500 and since day one we’ve had to hit the tailgate button twice to get it to open and sometimes in the winter you’ll have to hit it 15-20 times. Today to took the panel off the inside the tail gate and found that there’s about 1/2” of play on each linkage so there’s almost no pull on the laches, there’s no adjustment so I just bent the rods to shorten them so there’s no play and now the gate opens first tons every time.
