You've got to get a matching camera. I couldn't tell you that as I don't know. My understanding is that it's a screen resolution on the mirror and camera resolution improvement with the 2nd gen. That's just what I have read though.

If you want it in short order, the fields not cheap. I say that because I wanted it in short order. Mine was new but it was 600. Had to get a matched camera model too. The mirror I bought was the "1st gen" with hard plastic buttons in lieu of the soft on 2nd. P/N - 13536995 The light and camera combo was the following Light Assembly - 84487008 Camera - 84486910 This was installed into a 2018 Silverado so it was all new to the vehicle.
