  1. I have a '23 high country and i swear that sub is either not there or not working. I can't hear it or feel it with my arm on the center console.
  2. The stupid column shifter taking up a bunch of space with the cup holders on the other side of the column is one of my few gripes about this truck. I much prefer how it is setup on my tesla - a stalk on the right side of the wheel. Tap up for reverse, tap down for drive, button on the end to put it in park.
  3. Something to do with your phone maybe? Mine slows the fans down when I take a call and speeds them back up when the call ends.
  4. More likely they did drive it 20k and I bet the last time the oil was changed was before it was stolen.
  5. I have 3500 miles on mine. Put 1 2.5 gallon jug in it so far, probably ready for another one so I estimate I used about 5 gallons in 3500 miles or roughly 3.5% of fuel. Mostly suburban / country / highway driving, no real city.
  6. That is the exact temperature my '23 runs at. I'm thinking of installing the bypass block to lower the temps.
  7. Update: The firestone kit fits great. The airbags are significantly longer when inflated and there is no interference with any guards etc. The airlift kit needs work and is getting returned.
  8. Has anyone put airbags on a '23? I installed the air lift kit and I'm not really impressed. Maybe something changed on the '23's? I called air lift tech support and they confirmed I have the correct kit but I have 2 issues-with the truck on a lift you have to raise the axle about 3 inches to attach the brackets which means the rear axle is hanging on the bags. You are going to loose some articulation if off road. My second issue is you have to take the outer 2 bolts out of a metal harness guard on each side of the axle to install the brackets and the directions later tell you to reinstall the bolts but there is no way you can since the airbag brackets are in the way. Tech support didn't have much to say about that but from what little he did say I got the impression they are aware there is an issue with the kit. I'm going to try the firestone kit and return this since the firestone kit mounts a bit differently and it looks like the bags are a bit longer. Anyone else have better luck?
  9. My '23 did exactly what is described in that 2019 tsb when I plugged it in at -5f. Its been over 3 years and they have not fixed the problem yet.
  10. I completely agree that the bose stereo is meh. I have a '23 high country and the stereo in my tesla is significantly better.
  11. Thanks Dpach. I'm sure they had a whole bunch of people with the same problem after the cold weather this past weekend.
  12. Anyone have issues with the fan being stuck on full speed with a newer 3.0 Duramax? It was -5 so I plugged the truck in for a couple of hours, figured I would be nice to it and give it a warmer start. I started it after unplugging and the engine cooling fan(s) ran full speed for a 3 hour drive to the ski mountains when the temp hovered around 0 degrees out. The next day it was back to normal. I found a tsb from '20 or '21 that said there is an update coming but the truck is a '23. No codes were stored and no check engine light so probably no use taking it in to the dealer.
  13. High Country also has 4wd low and that is the only trim chevy or gmc that you can get with 4wd low along with the max tow package as far as I am aware, at least on refreshes.
  14. Same. I went from having to drag my brake lights to see anything while reversing at night to 'wow, that's bright!'.
  15. My tow rating is 12,900 but the payload is low, around 1500. Mine is a loaded high country that came with a factory hard folding tonneau cover and the multiflex tailgate however. It is a 3.0. The only time it will tow a heavy trailer is my dump trailer a few times a year to a quarry 3 miles away on flat ground so it will be fine. I went back and forth between this and a 3/4 but decided to go with the 1500 for the better ride and the ability of my wife to drive it once in a while. It replaced a titan xd diesel.
  16. Sounds to me like they are in some way back feeding the high beam circuit. Pulling a ground form something that is not a ground can do really fun stuff.
  17. I have a '23 crew cab 6.5 bed with NHT. You can get NHT with either the short bed or the standard bed.
