  1. Solved: I looked under the truck this morning and found out that the heat shield was almost falling off. I’m surprised that GM only holds it with retainers/washers, no nuts of any type. Sometimes it’s more convenient to get your hands a little dirty rather than booking an appointment and wait for the dealership to find the issue and hopefully solve it quick. It’s certainly a bittersweet experience thus far to have this happen in a $55k truck and at the same time it’s good to know GM has our back. It is what it is, I guess it could be worse if it has been a lifter . I hope my experience helps someone with the same issue.

  3. I thought that the 2019’s were all the new body style? Please correct me if I’m wrong. are you sure yours is 2019?
  4. The noise can be heard about 10 minutes into the drive, it does not make it initially. I tried shaking the truck manually up and down, side to side and was not able to replicate the noise. do these details make any difference?
  5. Posting here since a category for 2022 refreshed has not been created,at least that I know of. 2,800 miles on the clock, started hearing this rattling noise a couple of days ago, had my daughter record it while I drove, happens at 25mph+ and gets a bit louder all the way up to 60mph.Goes away at times then comes back. I have checked the tailgate to make sure nothing it's loose. So I have most likely eliminated it as a possible cause. I also have the OEM Chevrolet drop in bed-liner installed. Based on this video what do you think the issue could be? I would greatly appreciate your opinion. link to video: https://imgur.com/a/QuNr8XC
  6. Sounds like a lot of B.S from G.M. I feel like you need to be more aggressive on this issue to come to a positive resolution once and for all.
  7. wow James, sounds like you have been very patient,I can't imagine 13 weeks without my vehicle that's already paid for. Give them a deadline and if they are unable to fix it properly then accept the new truck and "due to the 13 weeks inconvenience" have them swap everything out to the new truck, I mean 40 hours of labor to move everything is not going to break GM and it is the minimum that they can do for you. I would propose this to your inside source who is helping you. Good luck.
  8. Does the AT4 =Trail boss Which comes with a 2” factory lift? correct me I’m wrong. if it is correct what I said then we would not be able to compare them as the LT sits lower without a 2” lift.
  9. I think you misunderstood my question. I’m asking about anyone running 285’s not 275’s, which is what I currently have. My concern it’s because the 305’s 22’s I was able to fit on my old 2022 LTZ were aftermarket with an offset of 0. These stock wheels on my 2022 refreshed have positive offset.
  10. You need to have GM buy this truck back from you. Does not even matter what the issue is at this point. 12 weeks in the shop is unacceptable. Don’t tell me you still had to make payments for these 12 weeks that your truck has been inoperable? Lemon law!
  11. Still posting here since the admins have not created a section for the new 2022 silverado. stock size is 275/60/20 is anyone running 285/60/20 tires or bigger ones with the stock suspension? if so do they rub?
