Had the same issue with mine. I never figured out exactly what caused it, but after a big phone update things started working better. I feel like it was goofiness between the infotainment system and my phone in my case (Android). My wife's, and son's phones both worked fine with it, but mine caused glitches. Recently traded it in for a 23 Sierra though, so my issues with the '19 Silverado went away (including the goofy transmission shifting).
