  1. When I leveled the front end of my 2500, before I did any work I drove into my garage, turned my lights on and using electrical tape marked the floor where my front tires were, then the wall above and below the brightest portion of all the lights including the fog lights. Made the change to my keys and shocks. Leveled the truck, then turned my lights back on that are now higher on the wall, adjusted them down using the screw mentioned behind the light fixture until the beams are exactly where they were stock.
  2. I started using Mobil 1 Truck + SUV 5W-30. Can't find it in the store. Usually order on WalMart.com or a mid-west farm store. About $28-$30 for 5 quart container. Still burns quicker when towing as the manual says it would.
  3. Going to ask about this fix when I bring mine in! Thank you!
  4. Well, it 2023 and my brand new Silverado gasser is doing the same as all you guys are talking about. Very disappointed with this noise in a $64k truck with 1100mi! Glad I found this thread. At least I know I’m not alone. Made my 1st appointment with the dealer. The mechanic said he’d try another pump. Here’s hoping!
  5. I just bought my 1st 3/4 ton Silverado and I have to agree, with an empty bed the truck is all over the road at faster highway speeds 70/80mph. So around town I run my 18" tires at 55 front/65 back. When I throw my 500lb sliding 5th wheel hitch in the bed and tow, I bring it back up to 60/70 as stated on door jamb. Don't want to take any chances under load.
