I am having the same problem. I just googled the antenna removal and cost of a new antenna. My GM dealership wants $600-800.00 to replace it. I too never received notice of any recall. The part is supposed to run approximately $120.00 retail and the labor time is 30 minutes to an hour to replace. I can't justify $600-800.00 for the replacement.
