Hi all, Long time lurker first time poster. If I screw it up be gentle. I purchased a new 2023 Silverado Custom that has the 8” radio but not the steering wheel switch’s to control it. I bought the fancy steering wheel, but the HUD switch is missing. I live in the country so HUD isn’t essential, but as a human, I do make mistakes. My current wheel does have the switch, but the swap looks less than straight forward. So my question is, if I install the switch delete wheel, will my HUD still work and I just won’t be able to shut it off? Or will it kill it? Bonus points to anyone that can explain the procedure to change it, as that’s obviously the best way forward. Appreciate your time.
