Ok I didn't know if there was a trick with this style cause it's a bit different then its predecessors. At the dealer cause it's still under warranty but they claim there is nothing wrong with the front diff. I have play in the output shaft/stub shaft along with a metal on metal sound and a vibration when at higher speeds 55-60
Please see attached. There is indeed a output shaft. The cv axle slides into it. I've owed older models where the cv axle bolts onto it but never slides in. The cv axle it's sell is fine. But the output shaft is not. That or the bearing is toast.
I have a 2019 chevy 1500 non legacy. I'm getting a noise from the driver side of my front differential. How would I go about removing the output shaft?
