Found a handle on eBay think this would work?

You guys seem to know these tailgates better than any dealer!!!! I have a 2033 Silverado LTZ with the powered up and down one piece tailgate. Do you know of any way to disable the damn chimes (inside the cab ((same as the door chimes)) and the buzzer/ chimes emitting from the tailgate on pressing the button. makes this truck almost impossible to use on hunting trips!!!! So loud to get gear out I almost leave it home

I'm seriously considering accessing the tailgate and start unplugging things. I'm out hunting right now, and this morning and dropped the tailgate on the road before the property so I didn't scare anything and my backpack fell out on a bump while driving in. Had to walk 1/2 mile looking for it. i can't believe there isn't a software update we couldn't press GM to do! What the heck is the point of both noise makers?????? In the cab and on the gate? At least write code to turn the chime down when opening, and then cut that stupid buzzer when accessing the tailgate

Is there anyone that can hook up to this truck and turn the chime down via reprogram???? mine makes some kind of buzz sometimes from the tailgate I think. Makes so many damn noises it makes it almost impossible to drive on a hunting trip. ill see if I can video the noise

Yes, power up and power down, with an annoying chime each time

There has to be something that can be done. My buddy can hear it almost a 1/3 of a mile away

My truck has no manual entry tailgate, not the 3 part tailgate either. Is there a way to shut off the inside chime and the external buzzer when opening???? on hunting trips it's impossible to access gear in the back without alerting everything within a 1/4 mile radius in vehicle settings it only allows the chimed setting to go down to 50%

How are you opening without the assist? Mine only has the button
