For what it is worth, I have the same issue on my 2024 Silverado 2500 HD. Driver side is the only one that is loose. I took back to dealership and they are replacing the mirror on the driver side. No clue why it can't just be tightened down but what they do is take a video of it, then send it to Chevy Engineers at home office where they review it for approved repairs/replacement. Just heard back they are replacing. SO, moral of the story is to take that bad boy back do the dealer and let them fix it or replace it. I wouldn't touch it yourself as they will use that as a reason to void the warranty on the mirrors and those have a lot of moving parts in them.
