Nice! You must be a real tech guy. All the systems in the car these days respond to Apple well over Android. Very nice upgrade.

Is it possible to remove the hardware and install a 2015 or 2016 removable cup holder in its place. Because the phone charger only works with certain model year phones anyway. So it's sort of useless if you don't have a certain year model phone and take long trips to get a full charge. I prefer the convenience of the storage area over the hardware to charge my phone.
