2024 2500HD Duramax. Took a drive to run errands. While at a stop light my “add oil” came on. Thought it was strange for a 6mo old truck. Pulled over and saw nothing around the pan, then noticed oil around driver side axel. Popped the hood and my coolant reservoir was full of oil. Had it towed to dealership early next morning.
my service advisor notified me that my oil cooler had cracked and flooded my cooling system. Of course now I also have coolant/water in my engine. Several parts on back order.
IMHO this is a catastrophic failure, and not a new issue.
will the be a recall?
