    Hey everyone I've got a 2010 Silverado 1500 with the 6.2L L9H and 100k miles and it's got a pretty bad rod knock. I decided to do a oil change to check for copper shavings and to no surprise the oil as well as in the filter was filled with copper shavings. I'm gonna assume it's from a piston bearing destroying itself. At this point am I better off rebuilding the motor or swapping in a motor with similar miles like another 6.2 or a 6.0? I'm hoping to spend no more than 3.5k but I wouldn't be surprised if it costs more than that

    Hey everyone my truck has recently developed a pretty severe rod knock and I'm going to have to replace the engine. I currently have a 2010 Silverado 1500 with a 6.2L L9H. I was wondering how difficult it is to swap a L92 into my truck and what the process would be to get it it running in my truck. To my understanding the only difference is the L9H has flex fuel while the L92 does not
