I’d be interested in what the actual device manufacturer is also. I had a Binize unit that seemed to be working fine until it didn’t. One day it just locked up with the date and time being different message. Of course it was a couple days after the Amazon return expired. I contacted Binize and they definitely acted like they were trying to help me but the constant back and forth with trying this and trying that with nothing working going on for a week I basically just gave up. They never offered to replace it. Now I tried another brand. Also on Amazon, it’s Lamtto 3in1 ai box.. Setup was easy and everything works fine and I have full screen CarPlay. The only issue that seems to be a problem among other AI Boxes is feedback on hands free calls. The person on the other end of the call hears themselves in an echo feedback. Kind of a pain seeing I often have to make or receive calls when I’m out of the office. The other issue is the unit itself gets extremely hot. I mean extremely hot to the point I had it in the center console but worried that without proper ventilation it might cause a failure and possibly electrical fire.I moved it out to the main usb input in the cab of the truck where I can see it. I might be over reacting but I found it concerning. It sucks GM has put us in this situation. Full screen is definitely better but If I have to use a Box to achieve that I would like to find one that works without those issues.

I’ve tried everything I could think of including wiping my phone and truck of all saved connections and starting from scratch but the same message popped up. I took your advice and sent them an email so I’ll update this when I hear back from them, with hopefully a resolution to my issue.

Quick update and issue. Got everything to connect and everything worked perfectly. Then today I started the truck and a pop up said can’t connect to android auto because date and time not in sync with the truck?? Now it’s a red brick sitting in my truck because no matter what I update automatically or manually with the date and time the same pop up keeps…popping up

I have a 2025 Silverado and I follow all the steps and get to the android connect to Pixel and the box flashes blue but says it can’t connect. Any suggestions
