2021 Silverado Z71 LTZ 69,989 miles. Bought it 11/25/2024. Certified pre-owned Threw an engine light on 1/20. Light was for a transmission fault so I took it to the dealership that evening. Left it at the dealership with a loaner and an estimate of "5 days to get to it". Took 10. Diagnosis was ...the dreaded valve body. "They're on back order". Could be 6 days, 6 weeks or 6 months. They have now rented me a CAR. I'm in the construction business. A CAR! Because they know this is going to be a drawn out process. Chevrolet and GM know they have a big problem and they're doing NOTHING about it. So, I'm now making payments on a truck that is hung up on backorder and Onstar that I can't use and XM that I don't have access to in my rental. I'm ready for any legal action that comes along!
