I have a 2009 Silverado with the 5.3. I only have 22000 on it and do NOT have a problem with oil consumption (YET). How BIG is this problem? You guys got me thinking I should sell this truck BEFORE I get the problem. Yet when I look in Yahoo or Google for 2009 GM 5.3 oil consumption, or other words to that effect, I get very little information, if any. I just would like to know what per-centage of 5.3s with AFM have this problem. Should I sell my truck and get a new Ford 150?

I have been using this setup since 5/10 with no problems, and with no diode. So the automotive relay seems to work just fine.

I completed the installation and it works fine. But I am not sure where the 15 and 30 fuses are located for those pins in the MBEC box. Can you advise please?

I went to many local shops, including GM Dealer. Nobody carried Delphi 15304711-L. I had to order it on the Mouser Site and pay the "shipping". But I bought 6 instead of 3, for the next project whenever it happens, or if I screw it up.
