    Installed the new brake rotors, and did an oil change. I picked up a new gasket and gear oil for the rear differential, but didn't get to that today.

    I drove mine to a buddy's house yesterday afternoon, and then back home this morning. Went 142 miles round trip, and pulled down an average of 17.6 MPG. I ran down yesterday at 65 MPH with the A/C on pretty much full blast. Not too bad for an older truck with 6 ply LT tires.

    Ordered some Wagner brake rotors for the front of the truck yesterday, the Powerstop rotors must have gotten messed up from the junk calipers I had on before.

    Picked my truck up from the garage today, had to have the yearly state inspection completed.

    I really like the taillight style on those years, but I like the front end style of the newer 5th gens better. I would probably do a conversion to have either style if I ever bought one.

    I have a powerball, but I've never really loved how it works. Maybe the cone works better?

    I'll have to try that next time. I've been using Mothers for years now, but I don't particularly care for it all that much. It works, but it takes a lot of polishing to get the wheels clean.

    We took mine for a nice drive to another doctor visit yesterday. Average mileage is still slowing climbing which is a nice plus.

    It was somewhat of a pain. Mainly because the bolt holding the shifter in was extremely tight and I didn't have the exact size torx bit that it took. The other bad part was getting to the pug for the tow/haul because I had to take more panels off. Other than that it's pretty smooth sailing. Thanks, it's coming along.
