I've been in GM vehicles nearly all my life. My parents started me out driving a 1989 Suburban with a 350 when I was in high school. We kept that until it had 275,000 miles and sold it (still running). Shortly there after I was given an 1989 Chevy Cheyenne with a 305. I drove that until it had 225,000 and sold it. Also during the time of the Cheyenne, I drove a 1963 Buick Electra 225 and a 1996 Suburban. I then was given a 1991 Chevy work trruck with a V6 :( but that was only around for about 6 months. For college I was given Chrysler Cirrus. Not a bad car for MPGs, but it just wasn't a truck. Finally after 5 years of the Cirrus I got to purchase the first GM that was entirely mine. It's an awesome 2006 GMC Sierra. Crew Cab SLT, fully loaded with the 5.3L. I love it and I can't wait to trick it out even more. So far I've just got a K&N intake but I plan on a Magnaflow exhaust and tonneau cover in the near future. It's great to be back in a big ol' GM truck again!
These pictures were from the AutoTrader ad. Once I saw them, I new this truck was the one for me. I actually had to wait 3 months until I could buy it. All the while it was out there on the market and someone else could have snatched it up. I still can't believe it's mine!
