  1. 2024 GMC 3500 Denali Ultimate SRW Summit White: - Ordered 2/24 - Confirmation of build start 4/4 - Build complete 4/15 - Delivery TBD Waiting patiently... although I think I have watched every video on YouTube about this thing
  2. Driving home the other night a "Reduced Power" notice popped up on the dash and the truck started to slow down. Typically I have experienced a vehicle enter limp mode and still be "drivable". This time, the throttle would response. The truck rolled to a stop, shut off, and began throwing all sorts of error messages up. i put the truck in park and tried to restart the truck a few times and nothing happened. Kept the truck in park, opened the door to shut everything off and she fired back up and threw an emissions notice. I drove the truck home and turned it off and back on and the check engine light went away. What the hell is going on? I do run a Derringer and Pedal Monster but they are designed to fail safe and restore factory settings. Anyone else go through this?
  3. Very simple to install, through I recommend routing the wires through the door jamb and avoid the firewall. I tried to follow my plow controls but I just couldn't get it through. Be sure to undo both batteries for at least 90 minutes to be sure the computers loose all the drive data... it conflicts sometimes with the derringer when it comes to gear selection relative to throttle position. Power gains are very noticeable and according to the iDash TQ and HP at the ECU readout I have seen 565HP and 991TQ. I am not sure how accurate the readout is as you should be seeing 1050TQ+ but you can definitely feel it. I am still thinking aout a full ECU tune though now that some of the pricing has started to come down, but this was a great way to get some bolt on fun for short money.
  4. I just completed a 600 mile trip last week and averaged 22-23 MPG but I had a best of 29.9. I am was also running a Derringer on Level 6 the whole trip. 2020 2500 AT4 Duramax
  5. I have to admit that this is the first truck that I have owned that does automatic software updates. My question is, do we know if any of the new 2021 camera configurations would be part of a software update....? I heard about a cargo view that displays in the rearview mirro screen.
  6. So we are getting ready for winter up here in NH and I am looking to throw a new set of tires on the truck. I love the stock wheels and would prefer to keep them. I have been looking at a Kryptonite leveling kit with a 1" block in the back along with new tie rods. I have been running Cooper AT3 XLTs on my other trucks and I have had no issues but I would like to get something a little meatier. Through all of this, I still need to take into consideration that I plow (not professionally) through the winter. I have a Boss 8'2" V that I plan on keeping but I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has a leveling kit with 35"+ tires and a plow.... thoughts or challenges?
  7. Picked it up about a month ago and I have been averaging 18 or so ... 90% highway. Sitting on 5,100 miles right now and the best I have seen is 21... Ya I know, 5k miles in a single month... job site commute is about 90 minutes each way ?
  8. I swear that it changes colors every day! some times it's grey, blue, black, even green. I am glad I went with this color. Where did you get the blacked out badges?
  9. 2020 AT4 HD 6.6L Duramax Dark Sky Metallic Boss SS V 8'2" Plow I love this truck!
  10. Just got the plow all set up on the new beast! I was surprised at how very little they had to cut into the air dam on the front. Front end design is much more plow friendly when compared to previous generations. I also can't even see the plow lights over the hood because the truck is so tall. Bring on the snow! 2020 AT4HD 6.6L Duramax Dark Sky Metallic Boss DXT 8'2"
