Definitely interested if someone wants to start making these and selling them. I'd be interested in a set. Thank you 737Mechanic for sharing.
So this is an older topic but in my search on the internet seems to be a fairly common problem that maybe GM needs to do a recall on? I have a 2016 GMC Sierra and just noticed today that my washers don't work. Fuse is OK and I don't hear the pump run when I turn it on. So looking like I need to replace the pump. I don't think I have ever had to replace a windshield washer pump on a car in my life let a lone a 3 year old vehicle with 30,000 miles. Unfortunately my warranty was up in May due to time. So I get to fix it myself. Seems like a cheap enough part and maybe that's the problem but it that many are breaking I would think GM would take a closer look. Either way, does anyone have instructions on how to replace this? Looks like I get to tear some stuff apart to access it. Thanks.
I'm sure they will say something like that but I'm going to push as hard as I can because there is no excuse for 1 board looking like this and the other is fine. They are less than 3 years old and way too expensive for that. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Anyone know if GM will cover the finish flaking off my running boards? I noticed last fall there was a spot on the side of the passengers side board but now it's all the way down the side. Drivers side seems ok and I know the accessories are supposed to be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty. Mine is still good until May. I plan to ask dealer about it but curious if anyone else has dealt with this. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Just wondering if you are still happy with this product? I noticed a huge difference in throttle response going from my 2011 Sierra to my 2016 and came across this product yesterday in doing some internet searches. Seems like it works pretty well. Just need to decide if it's worth $300 to me.
I see that. Only thing I can think of is that they got a shipment from the manufacturer and that notch wasn't there so the factory improvised since it's in a spot you don't see. It doesn't both anything. Just seemed weird the way it was cut and I couldn't think of any reason you would need that there.
I took my glove box out the other day to check the cabin air filter on my 2016 Sierra (that's a separate issue because I can't figure out why my truck literally smells like poop when the heat is on) and I noticed a strange cut on the left side next to the dash. I snapped some pics of it. Looks like someone took a Dremel and cut a notch out for some reason. So I'm wondering if this is a factory cut and if anyone has this in their truck? Can't think of why it would need to be there because there is nothing on the side of the glove box that would need to clear that. I suppose the previous owner could have done that because he barely drove the truck. So don't know what he would have needed to do that for. Just curious.
All of Adam's products are the bomb! They have a great Black Friday sale going on now through Sunday as well. 20% off chemicals and towels and 15% off everything else plus free shipping with a $60 order and a free towel with a $100 order. I'm getting ready to place a big order right now and can't wait to try out some new products. Go to their website and watch some videos. They are very good. I started detailing cars in high school (20+ years ago) and have learned some good tricks by watching their videos. Adamspolishes.com
I've had my 2016 Sierra SLT for a couple months now and I love the truck. The SLT I bought has most every option that I wanted in a truck but it does not have the blind spot monitor and I really wish it did. Just wondering if that is something that is possible to add? Maybe the sensors are already there and I just need the mirrors and a fuse? Just curious. Not the end of the world but if it's something that could be added I would look into doing that.
I plan to buy one of these for my 2016 Sierra. I try to purchase GM parts whenever I can but I found what appears to be the same identical aftermarket part on ebay for almost 1/3 the price. Has anyone purchased this aftermarket part and does it fit and operate as well as the GM part would? Here is what I'm looking at. Also, does the coin holder actually mount in the organizer or is it just sliding around in there? I can't tell from the pictures. Thank you. https://www.ebay.com/itm/AF-NEW-for-Select-GM-Vehicles-Center-Console-Insert-Organizer-Tray-14-17-GM/202088021357?hash=item2f0d627d6d:g:30sAAOSwZcZZ2NTr&vxp=mtr
