$20 Exhaust Fix 2019 5.3 z71
TLDLTD replied to ShamrockShooter's topic in 2019/2020 Engine, Driveline, & Exhaust
Is it really that hard to figure out? But a 2.5” should do it....I just used a clamp I had laying around the garage Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I have complained on here cause of a few issues but I still love my truck and have been trouble free since the bugs were worked out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Check engine light!?
TLDLTD replied to Ranger522vx's topic in 2019/2020 Silverado & Sierra Troubleshooting
Probably easier to ask what doesn’t cause a CEL on these things. I have made peace with the fact it’s just always going to be on. Dealer tells me all brands have issues...I guess I’m the idiot for thinking a new truck should be reliable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Transmission Poll
TLDLTD replied to Pinnacle's topic in 2019/2020 Silverado & Sierra Troubleshooting
Mine stayed in 2nd gear - happened at 25,000km. Was initially told it required trans replacement but ended up being faulty connectors and shorted shift control module. Replaced ECM and shift module and it has been fine since. Overall I am happy with 8spd Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Anyone else regret buying a Chevy?
TLDLTD replied to MyWay's topic in 2019/2020 Silverado & Sierra Troubleshooting
I hate to admit it but I am almost there. I do still love this truck but it’s getting to me with all the trips to the dealer. It was a great truck until 15,000km. It’s been in and out of the shop for the last 12,000km for brake issues, power brake issues, replaced ECM, replaced TSCM, replaced PSCM. Faulty plug on some transmission wires that caused the truck to stay in 2nd gear at all times (thankfully wasn’t the transmission like they originally told me). Just got it back yesterday fire it up this afternoon after work and get a CEL for emissions. All makes have issues but this is more than my last F150 and Ram. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I have heard people mention that the transmission has to learn. Is that a thing or is it BS? Just curious as I just had ECM, shift module, and a few other things done to my truck. I’m curious what it “learns”. What happens if I drive in sport mode full time - does that affect anything it learns. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

2019 Trailboss 5.3l 8spd issues
TLDLTD replied to TLDLTD's topic in 2019/2020 Silverado & Sierra Troubleshooting
Well it is now stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear at all times. [email protected]“& On top of that had a different brake issue while driving today. Instead of the usual losing the power assist (recall programming issue) the brakes felt super spongey and easy to push. There was no brakes or full lock up. Nothing in between. So driving 80km/hr at 3500rpm with sketchy brakes in a snow storm all the way home was nice. It goes in tomorrow for a list of work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
