Had it in to dealer...paid my $200 warranty deductible and they don’t know what happened. Said the CEL wasn’t related to no oil pressure on gauge but it started working after they cleared the CEL. Also to piss me off even more I noticed that the rear window is leaking and I am over 60K km so they won’t cover it. The dealer sent pics to GM to see if they can do anything for me. Fingers crossed. Anyone have a CEL then oil pressure gauge shows zero pressure? It’s full of oil and no knocks, ticks or rattles so likely something with gauge or sending unit. Was forced to drive 100km and didn’t seem to have any other issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My 1960 Chevy had torsion bars. They had them until 1963 for 2wd longer for heavy duty trucks. My dads 3ton grain truck has them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I hate to admit it but I am almost there. I do still love this truck but it’s getting to me with all the trips to the dealer. It was a great truck until 15,000km. It’s been in and out of the shop for the last 12,000km for brake issues, power brake issues, replaced ECM, replaced TSCM, replaced PSCM. Faulty plug on some transmission wires that caused the truck to stay in 2nd gear at all times (thankfully wasn’t the transmission like they originally told me). Just got it back yesterday fire it up this afternoon after work and get a CEL for emissions. All makes have issues but this is more than my last F150 and Ram. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dealer called me this morning and said that they have reprogrammed a dozen trucks since Thursday and no returns as of today. Taking mine in Monday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No issues before recall, recall done on on Dec 18/19, have put on 3000km since and has happened more than 10x, never in motion and started by app. Shut truck off and restart and brake messages go away and everything works except CEL stayed on. All of a sudden yesterday the CEL is gone now too. I’m waiting for a couple weeks to see if others have success with the “fix” before going to the dealer to have it done. My dealer offered me a loaner. I’m not going back until this is confirmed fixed. Sick of it. I also have opened a case with GM - spoke to them today and they acted like they have never heard of this issue. Dealer called me today and said that GM has told them there is a possible fix coming Jan.17th. After all this I am doubtful. I’m in Canada so not sure if that changes things. I’m just driving mine with the CEL on cause I love my truck aside from this issue. Also my dealer now seems to be ignoring my calls. Had a loaner 2018 over the holidays and didn’t like it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I hope for the best for you but I don’t see how replacing parts fixes a computer glitch. Mine seems to throw these errors about every 10 starts. I also start with the app almost every time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Weird this morning it happened again but the third message us now changed. It used to say: “Brake System Failure 100km/hr Top Speed” It now says: “Brake System Failure 70km/hr Top Speed Is this GMs way of solving it? What a joke Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Turn it off and restart and it should go back to normal and the CEL will stay on. Been fighting this issue for almost a month. Multiple dealer visits, opening a case with GM as of today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Same issue since day one on mine when brakes are cold. Dealer says all vehicles do that [emoji849] and nothing can be done. I’ve never had a vehicle do this even with ceramic brakes. It sounds like a clapped out old farm truck when it’s cold lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Same here...noticed the same thing the other day it the touchless car wash. Coincidentally on my way to the dealer for an unrelated item. Dealer says it’s likely roof sheet metal flexing. Going to see if it happens more frequently. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Picked up my Trail Boss Thursday and did a road trip to the states Friday. Cool that when you switch the units the speedometer dial and DIC convert to MPH. Coming from a 2017 F150 and it didn’t do that. Only thing I miss about the F150 is the big gas tank. Ohhh and I miss the console shift as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
