Hi all, my 2017 Z71 has been having issue for a while now and getting worse. CarPlay will just put calls on hold randomly, sometimes calls go to hold over Bluetooth even. Sometimes the screen stops being responsive to touch and I have to use the menu knob. Something’s it randomly changes screens, opens settings, tries to adjust the clock, like it’s possessed. I have it at a dealership right now getting the 50k service and asked them to look into it and he called and said nothing. Can’t find any issues. I explained again and he said he would relay to the tech… I am not confident and unsure what to even ask. any input or advice would be super helpful. Thank you much. -
Just picked up brand new 2019 LT Trail Boss yesterday, and the infotainment screen is completely unresponsive! Nothing happens at all when you touch the screen. Everything shows up and is visible, but you have to use the physical buttons below the screen to get anything to work. They told me to bring it in first thing Monday morning to try and fix. Has this happened to anyone else? I came from a 2019 Ram because I was tired of dealing with all the problems, haha. I seem to have the worst luck! Hopefully a software update fixes the issue. -
Hey everyone, So I made this account after reading thread after thread about the Intellilink system issues that people have been having. I literally JUST bought my 2014 GMC Sierra TODAY! The dealership I purchased it from is about 1.5hrs from my house and about halfway through the drive on the way home from the dealership, the touchscreen would not respond. It still would show volume and change the song title when I used the buttons, but when I tried pressing any of the touchscreen icons to do anything nothing would happen. On a rare occasion, it would lag and think I'm pressing it when I'm not. I got back home and immediately called GM Support. They had me "refresh" the radio, which was just turning off the truck for 5 minutes and turning it back on. It worked after that. However, about 2 hours later, I'm back with the same issues. It happens randomly when driving. VERY VERY frustrating. Has anyone experienced this?? I am not having any blackouts (yet, thank God), but just having issues with trying to press the icons on the screen and them not responding. ANY and ALL feedback would be MUCH appreciated. Hello GM fam. I'm new here and I'm searching for some advice for my project build. I have the remains of a salvaged '17 GMC. And I was wondering the possibility of making the dash and radio work in my project '95 GMC. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

Hello all. I write this because I recently had my MyLink system stop working along with the speakers and light display on the steering wheel. This happens randomly one day. I was driving with the music on and the screen froze and the music stopped. When I reached my destination I turned the truck on and off and this time the screen worked no more. At night there is backlight illuminating the screen but the screen itself does not work. The only function it works in is the reverse camera. I was finally able to take it to the dealership and they are telling me the "resistors" (that's what they called them instead of diodes) is what caused the problem and now I am liable for the charges to get it fixed. Has anyone with this mod (low beam to fog lights) had any complications with their truck? Thank you very much for the responses. I own a 2014 Silverado LTZ -
Has anyone been able to use the "Projection" feature of their infotainment system to watch a movie. I have a 2016 GMC Sierra with the 7" touchscreen. I can connect my iPhone 5s and appleplay works but I cant figure out how to project a movie. Yes I have read the manual, please be specific about how your doing it so I can tell if my system is faulty. Any help would be great thanks. -
