Hey all I picked up a black ‘18 2500 Denali the other day and want to get rid of some of the chrome, namely the grille surround piece. Previously I had a ‘15 Silverado that was white which I plastidipped the badges and it came out great however since it was white any black contrast looked great imo. Since my new truck is black I’d like the grille surround to have a gloss finish that’s as similar as possible to the actual gloss finish of the body itself. I’ve ruled out plasti dip with glossifier and am looking at the hyper dip products either piano finish or emerald or even possible a wrap. I’m not going to go the paint route in case I decide to sell it at some point as I know some people prefer all the chrome of a denali. Anyone have any thoughts or experience matching the gloss finish of the factory finish?

Hey all, wanted to color match my silver 2017 Silverado LT. Not a fan of the chrome bumpers and grille/headlights. Anyone here have any experience with this project and/or suggestions. I’ve heard that wrapping is a long term way to go but also been told the opposite by other sources and told to paint.. thanks!

I started plasti-dipping the emblems on my 2015 All Terrian. But I'm having an issue with the GMC logo's on the front and back. The paint keeps "lifting". So I'm stuck. There are no Youtube videos for this year or newer that I've found. I'm thinking its becuse with the newer trucks, the emblems have all these horizontal groove lines keeping the paint/dip from grabbing on. Any ideas/advice??? Thank you all in advance. Also, whats the best thing to use to remove PlastiDip?? Can you paint over PlastiDip with PlastiDip?

Hi Everyone, Looking to wrap the bumpers on my 2015 RCSB W/T. The front bumper seems pretty straight forward, but the rear looks a bit tedious from looking underneath. I'd like to wrap the bumpers on the truck if possible, and my question is can I remove the rear bumper plastic trim without removing the bumper from the truck? It looks like a challenge to remove the trim without breaking all of the tabs. Any assistance with this is greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Mike
