  1. When I first got the truck like 6 years ago. I loved that new truck smell. I've put 140,000km+ on since then.
  2. If you shut your door and got rid of that engine light, yes.
  3. Wow wish I had one like that Sent from my Nokia 5190 using Tapatalk 2
  4. Returned bottles. Then I attempted to get my knee bolster off. I gave up because I'm unsure of where the clips are situated. I will experiment with a yard truck at work hahahaha Sent from my Nokia 5190 using Tapatalk 2
  5. Yesterday I took a couch to the dump. Then I returned cans and bottles, It was great. Today I, Changed the oil, pulled all the tires off (rotated) took all the brakes apart cleaned all the parts, scuffed up the rotors/drums/pads a little bit with some emery paper strip. I was shocked to find my el cheapo front pads from napa are still looking relatively new after 70,000 km when my originals barely lasted 70,000km not to mention the crap rotors that came from the factory (replaced 10,000km after the first pads changed the shaking was so bad) I even tow a boat! Maybe it's cause I'm older and don't drive like a maniac, well thats what my dad's nieghbour said anyways. Greased the 2 points in the front, took a look around, overall the truck looks great underneath. Noticed a little oil near the back area between the engine filter and plug area. Cleaned it, gonna see if it comes back as I had spilled some oil awhile ago topping the engine off. I like the way the brakes feel after cleaning, scuffing and getting the dust out of there, especially the drums. It started to dump rain as I was torquing the wheels, I'd been pissed if it happened with everything apart! I have been thinking this truck has barely cost me anything other than normal wear, I don't know if I want to trade it in its so reliable! (140,000km) the other day.
  6. Take it back the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
  7. Just look at your gas cap. I had kept getting codes on my sunfire intermittently, and one day I happened to look at my gas cap and the o-ring was all cracked. I replaced the cap and never got a code again. The evap solenoid is another common one too. I also had that happen on my truck, lucky for me the dealers cost I was still under warrenty.
  8. You shouldn't be going by the idoit light. Thats like going to buy fuel when the fuel light comes on.
  9. See the problem is we would hear more bad on the net because people come on here to post about it, they are mad. Look around at other forums there are issues with all brands. I bet the guy across from him would tell you hemi's are junk and his buddy says the ford 6.0 diesel is junk. Don't get me started on Nissian trucks. And forget about Toyotas!!! Where does it end? Do you see what I mean? My 4.8 burns oil. Like a quart every change. That is acceptable. Believe it or not the nature of combustion engines is some will burn oil. Why the diesel machinary at my work, they all burn oil!!!
  10. You don't see many people post about not using oil. Nobody with a good non oil using engine is going to have the drive to post about it. Someone with a issue is going to post about it. They are mad. So think about that. Your trucks age has nothing to do with it. I have a 2001 sunfire that never uses oil and had a 1990 Oldsmobile that did. All engines manufactured have some that use oil. That's how it is. Sent from my Nokia 5190 using Tapatalk 2
  11. LMFAO Sent from my Nokia 5190 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Awesome love the firebirds I want an old one, t tops, with a bird on the hood preferably with a big block. Sent from my Nokia 5190 using Tapatalk 2
  13. I had some drums stick awhile back I had to hit them really hard with a ball peen hammer on each side more than a couple times. It surprised me because usually its one or two light hits. Sent from my Nokia 5190 using Tapatalk 2
  14. Love it when this happens from overfilling and clowns claim topping off is ok. Sent from my Nokia 5190 using Tapatalk 2
