  1. My guess would be HD front end. And if he's smart he'll put on a real bumper to protect it from deers.
  2. What a pain in the ass Jim. DEF delete!
  3. Looks like a good time Jon. If the weather there was anything like it was here anyways.
  4. ^^^ Welcome to da Cooper Club!
  5. ^^^ I think my rims look much better with the weights on the inside. Headed to the Royals game today.
  6. That is very true. The bad drivers also find you, lots of sketchy vehicles too.
  7. I found all kinds of roads when I was down in Tulsa.
  8. I'm very happy with my 5.3. It's quiet, doesn't use any oil, pulls really good, and lifetime mpg of 16.1 so far. This truck will get a 6.0 once this engine is done. Hopefully 100000 more miles left.
  9. Yeah and then there are used 800's for much less, with no TC nannies, which I'm sure Chris appreciates.
  10. Went for a nice drive with the windows down and the radio up. Perfect temps (70's).
  11. Lol I didn't figure you did but it was worth a try. I hardly ever pin my truck. Just every once in a while to uh... clean out the engine or something.
  12. Don't go WOT. Problem solved
  13. New tires on! Da Coopers!

  14. They ride a little better than the P metric Goodyears that I had. I think it's because you only need to run the 10 ply tires at half of their max pressure capacity, versus the 4 ply that I ran at 100% capacity all the time. The ATP's with the Bilstien shocks do really well 50 mph+ on the dirt roads and Interstate, the ATP's flex a lot less and the truck feels more planted and under control. Honestly I couldn't be happier so far, I'll be buying Cooper's again.
  15. Took about an 85 mile drive... No drop in fuel mileage from the new tires. Supposed to get snow here soon.
  16. Old vs new. The pics don't even do these justice. The tread is as deep as a mudgrip. Before: Now: The new tires don't squat much, so the truck is actually a little higher. Very happy so far. Ride is great, if anything a little better which is crazy considering the new ones are E rated. They are also very quiet. I'm impressed so far.
  17. My truck surprised me getting 18 in the mountains. And that's letting her rip up the passes.
  18. you're also running a slightly bigger OD than I am.
  19. Nah I like sidewall and tires for 20's are crazy expensive.
  20. All the diesels here have boxes and fuel tanks and there trucks haven't ever seen work
  21. All the cool guys with stacks have em too.
  22. Gettin on dem new tarz tomorrow. After the rain we got might have to do a mud test, whether I want to or not.
  23. I think what Blackout's trying to get across is that with everything level, the only the time the outer CV's see any major angle is when turning, which is barely any. Go for a drive and see what distance your front wheels spend turned at any significant angle. For most people I'd bet it's maybe 2% of the miles they travel. Also, almost no angle is ever applied at higher speed. Compare this to a leveled truck that sees angle 100% of the time, whether it's turning or not, and the CV's are angled no matter the speed.
  24. Shiny wheels>>>black wheels
  25. IMO the rims and tires are the highlight of your truck Sarah, but chrome would be better
