  1. IMO the rims and tires are the highlight of your truck Sarah, but chrome would be better
  2. Yes, but your inner and outer cvs will both be at more angle whether you're turning or not if the front is raised. Additionally, generally when you're turning sharply you're not going 80mph. This diff drop idea might make me want to key the front and AAL in back... Angles were the main reason I didn't want to.
  3. My truck is staying down. I don't need flexxx, and mud is easier the get through with a lower truck, as long as you don't drive through a pond. Just ask some of the people I pulled out with my 1990 how much height helped them. Wait, most of them were my idiot friends, also with stock gms.
  4. Looks good Sarah, but I specifically said 37's.
  5. Did you have any issues with clearance on any of the front end parts? I would raise mine if the CVs would be flat.
  6. What is your suspension setup?
  7. What is the purpose of the drop? You might run into some issues.
  8. MT isn't the only one making them at least, there are a few other brands that make one almost identical. I just liked the Classics the best out of those.
  9. One of the reviews I read said the ATP were quieter than HTPs.
  10. Are they still making Classic II's? Really good looking rims IMO. My dream 1998 will have them My Cooper ATP's are waiting for me, going to get them on Friday I hope. Eventually I want to do a review with pics and maybe a vid or two.
  11. Parked next to an F350 with Cooper ATPs on it yesterday and they looked really good. Hopefully I'll get mine put on Friday.
  12. Where are da backseat?
  13. I'm going to look around and see if I can find any for my truck. I had similar ones on my old truck and really liked them. MMMMM just drove by a dealer and saw a clean 06 Sierra LBZ....
  14. I like those Jon. I think they blend in nicely. Oh and it's $3.24 here for REAL gas.
  15. The 6.0 power stroke is the most consistently bad engine made in a while. Luckily aftermarket support to toughen them up is pretty good now.
  16. I think in 2006 they used an upgraded sun shell... I don't know if there's anything else they changed.
  17. That's why I like the 3.73 rear end, I can put it in 3 and it doesn't run too high of rpm at 65, but will still get right up the hill. I'm interested to see how this tranny will last, even though I'm very nice to the truck, it can't like pulling on hills when it's above 110F...
  18. What does the bass boat weigh? I don't know how much the ski boat is but it just about levels the truck.
  19. I hardly go over 65 mph when I'm pulling. I leave it in 3rd and TH, even then mileage isn't the best since when I'm pulling the ski boat it's on hills. Usually 11-12 mpg. Comparable to when I pulled it with the 97 2500. But the 2500 doesn't have 4wd or a good stereo. If I'm pulling the jon boat mileage doesn't really drop at all.
  20. It looks like a bug hit it Ryan
  21. My quality workmanship. If I had to guess I'd say I have maybe 10% (legal) tread left.
  22. Plugged this tire, they wanted $20 to fix, since new tires are going on soon I just plugged it. Left the spare on to give this one some time and make sure it will hold.
  23. Didn't you hear? They're the next big thing.
  24. Had a flat yesterday, still had 5 psi though. Drove to a gas station and filled it up, it's probably flat by now. My buddy asked me why not get it fixed, I told him "because money". So far the list for the beginning of summer is clean everything, polish shocks, Fluid Film frame, put on new tires, front brakes and wheel bearings, grease front end, change oil, send in analysis sample, change coolant. That's the truck. Boat: paint, redo trailer bearings, check bearing in jet drive, shape and polish intake grate fins, possibly replace (both) impellers.... I think that's about it. Going to have some busy evenings.
  25. If you're doing the airbags manually it's more effective to have them separate than on a T. Having them separate will let them act like a sway bar. If the pressure can move from side to side all it does is support weight.
