  1. 6 months in now and the window switch has fixed my issue.
  2. One week in and so far so good. I'm more and more optimistic by the day
  3. I'm pretty sure I read that the master widow switch required programming by the dealer that's why I didn't mess with it myself
  4. Fingers crossed! I'm over 48 hours since they replaced the switch and there have been no messages. Haven't started the truck since I got home from the dealership and the battery voltage is holding steady as well. So far so good...
  5. Did they get yours swapped out and your cameras reprogrammed today?
  6. So I can report that I had no messages, screens coming on, or lights flashing on my dash while the truck was off in the last 24 hours. Obviously going to keep watching it and I'm probably going to keep the camera on it for 3-4 weeks when I'm not in it just to be sure. Also, plan on trying to let it sit without starting it for 4 days and see if the battery dies. Fingers crossed the window switch fixed it!
  7. Keep us posted and I'll keep posting updates here as well!
  8. The second message comes up about 10 minutes later. This is far more frequent for me. I get in and can't start it at least 2-3 times a week and if I'm not busy and it sits for more than 36 hours there's a good chance my battery is gonna be dead. My master window switch was replaced today. Took about an hour and cost me $154. Crossing my fingers the such fixes it for both of us!
  9. Yes all my cameras work. Never really had any issues with that. Mine has been confined to the no start issue due to it being in remote learning mode and the dead battery because it keeps doing it over and over again and stays on for HOURS at a time. Here's last night's video. Skip to 3 minutes flat. Nothing happens before that...
  10. She was being a moody ****** again last night so I got clearer video. Here are screen shots of the messages on the dash. Video is uploading to YouTube. I'll share the link once it's done...
  11. Mine flashes weird sometimes too but I'm sure that is unrelated. Mine has done that since the day I purchased it 5 years ago. I think it's just a software issue that doesn't hurt anything and they never cared enough to fix it.
  12. For those of you having the issue as described in the original post this is what your truck is doing the whole time it's off when it's in one of it's moods. I setup a GoPro in time lapse. Took 3 days but I caught it. For reference ever 20 seconds in the video is equal to 1 hour realtime. if you just want the money shots skip to 1 minute and 50 seconds in the video. Nothing happens before that. The three messages on the screen are: 1. The main message you see is "Start Vehicle To View Application" 2. The first message that flashes says "Remote Learn Pending Please Wait" 3. That message is followed at least 10 minutes later by one that says "Press Engine Start Button To Learn" It then repeats over and over again. Occasionally takes a break and then starts again. To give some time reference here I started the camera at 8:08 PM. It started being moody around 1:45AM-1:50AM and the last time I saw it flicker was probably around noon. So it did this over and over for 10 hours. This is absolutely what's causing the battery drain. Depending on how often it does this and how strong your battery is it could easily drain the battery overnight. I have had this happen. It didn't even make it 24 hours one day but normally by 48 hours it's dead if I don't start it. Tonight I set the GoPro up on the top of the steeringwheel so it's right on the dash screen and I can (hopefully) get clearer video of the messages if it gets moody again but I'm 100% positive about what the messages say that are popping up. I have an appointment tomorrow to change the drivers master window switch. It's the cheapest place to start since the dealer is "only" charging me $154 to change it. The door latch will be next and that is $250 for the part. After that I guess it would be the BCM. Not sure what eles would be triggereing it to go into remote learning mode. However, I do plan on setting up the GoPro for a bit after the switch is installed to see if it continues to happen so I can catch it right away. Anyway, here's the video. I hope this helps someone as much as this post helped me. It at least gave me a place to start looking. I'll continue to update the progress as things move along. 13. rlambert, I was wondering if everything was still working fine. I'm having the EXACT same issues that you were having. Battery dies in less than two days. Based off this thread I'm thinking it keept putting itself in the remote learning mode over and over and over again until the battery is dead. Thanks in advance! Has anyone else that's had issues with this had success with replace the drivers master window switch?
  14. Yea I still have them. I'm not sure what's involved but I think it's just clips. The body shop swapped them out. My truck was in a hail storm and there was a super tiny mark on the one for the rear passenger door and they had to replace them as a set. If insurance wasn't paying I wouldn't have messed with it and I'm the pickiest dude you'll ever meet with my cars. That's how small it is... Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

  16. I knew Alexa could but not Google Assistant... Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  17. Yep it's the camper you slide in the bed of the truck
  18. Not saying you did. Was just saying there's a post similar to this in the Facebook groups once a week at least and there's a group of guys that like to bash me because I say it's a stupid idea. That being said you took off a lot less then most people I've seen. Most of the ones I've seen they grind the whole bump flat. I think you'll be ok it doesn't look like they took to much off. Just paint them so they don't rust. Maybe even ceramic coat them while you're at it... Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  19. I'm glad I'm not the only one here that thinks this is a bad idea. It comes up at least once a week in the Facebook group and I get made fun of because I think it's stupid. Makes me feel a little better lol Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  20. I'm 100% positive that's a channel for brake fluid to travel since it's a 4 piston caliper. Most likely it's extra meat to help it hold up to high pressure that builds up in the caliper when you hit the brakes... Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  21. I'm with ya buddy. BTW I ordered the draggy. Will find out how much of a difference those 3.42's make. I'll let you know once I make a couple runs... Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  22. I can do the same on Android. But what I'm saying is Waze either needs to be displayed on the infotainment system or your phone. It can't be on both doing different things because car play and Android Auto are pulling the app data from the app on your phone. He wasn't asking if you could use different apps on your phone while using Waze. He was saying you can't use Waze on your phone while Waze if being displayed on the infotainment system and that's correct. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  23. No you have to choose. Either on your phone or on the infotainment system. CarPlay/Android Auto mirrors the app on your phone onto the display. So if your using it on one it can't be displayed on the other because it's literally the same app... Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  24. Yea they did a better job on this truck than the K2's. Remote start used your last HVAC setting, heated seats on low, and no heated steering wheel until you got in and hit the button... Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
