  1. LOL. Half way through I started realizing that I need more applicators and to designate more of my microfiber towels for vehicle duties. I was probably able to take care of everything within about an hour, which I'm super impressed by. I also realize that I need to get myself a DA machine to save my arms. Well, here's to rebuilding my home detailing center in 2014
  2. Alright. Just finished. Washed with Chemical Guys Mr. Pink, wheels with CG Diablo Wheel Gel 3:1 dilution, clayed with CG blue clay pad, finishing polish with CG V38 on a white Hex Logic pad, waxed with CG Instawax+, sealed with CG Hybrid V7, dressed everything else with CG Vintage Natural Shine VRP.
  3. I went to Topanga Canyon Mall last night in the truck. Had to exchange and figure out a new gift for my God Son and pick up a gift for my mother. I probably ran over 6 or 7 Priuses fighting for parking spaces.
  4. I will probably be picking up my AFE intake and exhaust on Monday. Hope to have it installed over the Christmas break. Also ordered my Rough Country Leveling Kit. Hopefully it'll arrive before the end of the year. Hopefully I can order my wheels in February when Ray's releases them (no more 5 step forging on the TE37X. Going to a 3 step forging on the new TE37X Ultra).
  5. This was last night, but I got too tired to post up after install. Plus it seems the only time I have to do installs now are after my son falls asleep for the night.
  6. I'm debating on ripping out the stock bed liner and sending it to line-x. Decisions decisions.
  7. Maybe that slip is from the tire? I do notice that these trucks are very easy to break loose. Prime example of my smokey burnout at my warehouse last night.
  8. Now that I'm at 1k miles, I'm doing about 19.5 80% highway/20% city. Not bad. For me, coming from a smaller truck, to get the same mileage out of a bigger truck with a significantly bigger engine, I'm impressed.
  9. Well, since I'm in So. Cal, I should get it pretty quick if they have it in stock Yeah. I imported some HID kits before. You're not suppose to as per some ban. What they're probably doing is importing them as individual components. They don't have any fancy packing or anything, so that may also be part of the delay. That and bribing customs officials. LOL
  10. I guess I didn't find this til now. Lets see, Wednesday, I ordered my TE37X wheels, today I put my order in for my N-Fab nerf bars, and DDM HID kit.
  11. My issue is that in the case this engine is direct injection like how I suspect it is, there's no fuel being sprayed on the intake valve keeping it clean, so all the more reason to have one.
  12. Yeah. That's MSRP. Wholesale is like $180 and their MAP is along the lines of $260ish.
  13. I kinda realize that I should have linked the product. Anyways, Mishimoto baffled catch can: http://www.mishimoto.com/mishimoto-baffled-oil-catch-can.html
  14. At the moment, just for ease of installation, I'm thinking of getting the Mishimoto baffled can. Before I would use the Greddy cans and shove some steel wool in them.
  15. OK, I'm moving over to the other thread. But basically in a nutshell, direct injection engines suffer really bad from essentially an unfiltered PVC. Even in port injection engines (like my Honda race cars), I throw one on because I don't want oil dropping the effective octane level of the fuel in the combustion chamber... and it tends to free a wee bit of power. But the reason why manufactures don't put it on? As far as my research goes, EPA says it's a no-no.
  16. I was wondering if this truck's engine has any type of oil catch mechanism from the PCV. Only reason is I worry a bit with it being a DI engine and no fuel being sprayed on the intake valve to keep it clean. If there isn't, then I'll be giving a call to one of my distributors for a oil catch can.
