  1. Obligatory "that'll buff out". Glad everybody's OK.
  2. Yeah, over in Sylmar off San Fernando Road. It's called Sunshine Canyon Landfill. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  3. Alright. It's 1:40 in the morning. I picked up 10 storage bins from Lowes and I just finished loading up and tarping down the bed for a dump run in the morning. Yay garage purge! I think all that's left is to organize, and put stuff away in bins. Nearly everything that was in cardboard boxes have either been thrown away (in the truck bed), or stowed/will be stowed into bins. I have 5 racks coming in from amazon mid-week. I also gotta find some time to head to IPS for some metal so I can start fabbing up my work benches.
  4. Inverted monotube. I'm used to it on my sports cars. As far as the ride quality, by far better than the factory Ranchos. The ride is smoothed out, body motion control is better, traction has increased and obstacle negotiation has gotten better (tested by climbing the rear of the truck over a curb). Later this week I'll see about load carrying capabilities since I still have more stuff to move from my old warehouse to the new. The ride is firm, but not harsh. By far a more refined damper. The Ranchos felt stiff and harsh unladen and bouncy and uncontrolled loaded down.
  5. I put a rear pair of these on today Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  6. Took my wife to labor & delivery. Daughter born.
  7. Yes. Why do the vehicle manufactures keep infotainment updates so secretive? It just keeps making me want to change to a tablet based head unit install.
  8. It's even more irritating that they can't simply push updated over the air.
  9. Just got mine back for a similar issue, except it was all dead. I got radio playback, but no screen, no controls. Someone about an interface module that died. At least I got a new map and software update that also allows the "passenger" to input addresses while the vehicle is moving.
  10. You're just not looking hard enough I get to get the truck back from the shop tomorrow! FINALLY after a week. Most of the downtime was waiting on parts.
  11. It's not bad. Still plenty good for around town and as I just learned decent enough for desert blasting.
  12. Looks like I'll be buying a Mag-Hytec diff cover soon so I can change out the gear oil. Since I have the oil coming out of both front and rear diffs, I'm wondering if I should pull the sucker out and put in some 3.43 gears... things to ponder.
  13. This was actually 2 days ago. Dropped off the truck at the dealer for recall and warranty work. Transfer case recall and odometer recall. Warranty is for driver seat warmer and the Mylink display is dead. I get to drive around in a previous generation Impala.
  14. I'd say use a cutting compound like Meguair's M85 Diamond Cut Compound or Chemical Guys Cut 1.0 and then seal over with a nice sealant like Jet Seal 109 or Cila Jet.
  15. I am jelly of the can. Wishing that People's Republik of Kaliforniastan would become free.
  16. Yeah, Apple isn't going to let you do that. It's more of an Apple issue than in Intillilink problem.
  17. OK, now at 20k on the clock and a Rough Country 2.5" leveling kit, I'm doing around 18-19 MPG. I have a tank of E85 in there right now (since it's about 50 cents less than regular gas, and gas in itself is crazy here in California), I'm getting around 15ish MPG.
  18. Looks like a pretty good find. Doesn't look too bad and fairly easily fixable Sent from five fingers to the face!
  19. Ordered my Rough Country 2.5" leveling kit and have my 18x9" 0ET Volk Racing TE37X wheels put in will call today. Later on I'll be delivering a pallet of raisins to one of my supermarket clients.
  20. AFE intake and exhaust installed.
  21. Hopefully my AFE intake comes in today and I can pick it up from my distributor's warehouse. I have an AFE exhaust sitting there waiting on the intake so I can come bring them back home.
  22. 400 mile back and forth trip this weekend for a pistol class.
