Would a diesel Silverado version work for a 16 Silverado 1500. I know the rpm gauge wouldn't be right , but I can't I buy those faces and replace the diesel version for the gas version ????
Could I get a Denali Cluster , and then changes the face of the gauges to the chevy ones? I am having hard time finding Tahoe/ Suburban clusters. But I can find Denali ones, and then eBay has the blue face gauges too. How hard is it to replace those?
So I emailed a dealership asking about the cluster and it's availability , and I was told they are exchange only? You have to buy from a dealership and then they ship the old one back to GM? Does that sound right? Specmo says They are still backordered .
Why are these so hard to come by, or why is GM making it hard? I was told by gm parts direct that they can't get the part and I will have to go through GM. Any luck with any dealers? Can they just sell you the cluster with out a VIN?
Where is the best place to buy a cluster and lowest cost? Every place I have seen they are about $450. I saw where the one poster got one for $250 on eBay , I haven't found any on eBay . I would assume they are hard to find.
Ok I read the whole thread, I have a 16 LT Silverado. If I got a 16 LTZ Tahoe/Burban cluster. What would it be programmed with that wouldn't work? Also what about the odometer, how do you get the correct miles on it?
Also where is the best place to order one of the clusters for a 16 LT Silverado?
Will the mylink radio play HD video files? What is the max resolution it will play? I got it to play low quality video files basically 480P but it won't recognize any higher resolution that that.
