  1. I'm not sure if its always like this I just recently noticed it a few times. I could tell the difference just by looking at it from behind at a distance. No unusual noises.
  2. Yes measured on level ground. You say half an inch? Due to gas weight?
  3. 2014 Sierra DC 4x4 All Terrain. The right rear of my truck when measuring from ground to wheel well sits an inch and a half lower than the left side. Is this normal? Anyone else have this issue?
  4. What exactly is GM Techlink? Do dealerships follow these. Is there a chance the procedure for settling the 3 way converter is part of a service bulletin?
  5. Pretty crappy if you ask me. I wonder what it is.
  6. Has anyone noticed their front suspension making very loud creaking noises when going over bumps below 30 mph? Only notice when it is 35 degrees or below outside. All terrain sierra with the rancho suspension.
  7. That could be. Now to see if the dealer will put any effort into helping me is another story.
  8. Lately I have been experiencing a vibration/shudder when slowly moving forward at a red light or in traffic. When I inch along with no throttle and using the brake there is a vibration or shutter. This happens in the 0-5 MPH range. NO CEL. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm afraid that the response from the dealership is going to be a generic "Sorry cannot duplicate your concern". Could a bad coil or misfire be causing this? Maybe a bad internal transmission pump? This truck is a headache. DC Sierra all terrain v6 4x4
  9. Gm now offering 20% off all sierras msrp until December 1st. Peculiar
  10. Has anyone noticed a difference between the windows up with the ac running and having all the windows down on the highway. I've just recently noticed that At 75 mph with all windows down my truck doesn't seem to shake like it does with the windows up. Could this be an air pressure or aero issue? I also have a tonneau cover on my truck which does flutter in the wind. How many people having shaking at highway speeds do or don't have a tonneau? I think they made the rear of these trucks too light and too stiff.
  11. Yeah and pretty much puts us in a horrible position because now if we try going to another dealer, GM is going to refuse to troubleshoot our trucks because via the engineer they are "operating as designed". I've never had a worse customer service experience for something that costs this much money.
  12. Truck has been to the dealer 3 times for shaking on the highway. 2014 Sierra DC 4x4 V6 AT z71 w/20 in rims. 22,000 miles. First trip dealer rebalanced the good years and sent me on my way. Second trip I was told 2 tires had excessive road force ratings. Truck is over a year old so it was either deal with the tires or replace them at my cost. I opted for 4 new michelins RF balanced. Truck still shakes at highway speeds. Third trip brought truck back to dealer and a field engineer was brought out to road test with vibration analyzers. Was told that it is operating as designed and that any shaking I am feeling is the feel of the road and stiffer suspension package. Although they do acknowledge it does shake. It shakes a lot between 65 and 80. This is b.s. I was told by GM district manager and the dealership to come pick up my truck and now it is back in my possession. I was told they would contact me if a solution for the shaking comes about. With this being said it leads me to believe this is a known issue. Since then I have brought my truck to Sullivan tire to make sure that the dealer did balance my tires correctly and they are indeed balanced.Truck only shakes at highway speeds. It doesn't shake under acceleration or any other speeds with the exception of v4 mode slight vibration. This is my update.
  13. If my shaking on the highway comes and goes is it probably not balance related? I do notice my tonneau cover flutters quite a bit. Would this have something to do with it? On the dealer paperwork it states RF balanced within spec. At times it rides nice and others (20 mile stretch) it doesn't.
  14. Does anyone know acceptable road force numbers?
  15. Update: 2014 Double Cab Sierra 4x4 V6 all terrain package 20 in.wheels. Truck has been at dealer for shaking at highway speeds. Can be felt in seats only and passenger seat moves a lot when empty. GM sent out engineer and engineer says within spec. Note: truck has RF balanced Michelins and still shakes. Was told to pick truck up. I'm thinking about taking it to a tire shop instead since GM doesn't want to help. It was at the dealer for 15 days and back and forth phone calls.
