Installed the AMP Power Steps yesterday. Decided to take others' advice and wire it up first then install the boards. The very last thing to do, install the second board to the arms...I notice a huge gouge in the outside edge of the board, VERY noticeable. Kudos to Summit for sending out an entire new system to pick a new board out of. Excellent customer service.

That seems a lot easier to seal up an extra, small hole in an existing grommet than drilling through sheet metal and chancing rust.

Has anyone with the AMP steps installed them without drilling the hole for the harness to pass through to the cab? Was wondering if anyone found a convenient access point that might already exist on the firewall, etc.

Took this out for a drive before it rained.

Do the plug-n-play version of the Amp PowerSteps actuate individually on each side? That is, when only the driver door opens, does just the driver step actuate or do both driver and passenger actuate?
