  1. I ended up using 3/8" Silicon hose because the standard 3/8" fuel line hose I had collapsed (turned into an oval). There is a lot of vacuum on the system at idle with the TB butterfly closed - it's pulling pretty good through the PCV system.
  2. Yes Ryan it's polycarbonate. I don't anticipate any issues considering where it's mounted but we'll have to see how it holds up. PS Did you notice...there's a little oil in it already! That was after install and 104miles of hwy driving just yesterday.
  3. 4. Thanks Ryan. I had some 3/8" fuel line hose in my garage.
  5. Question what type of hose are you using for the catch can installation? Is it silicon vacuum hose, fuel line, general use?
  6. Yes a 305/50/20 mine is a Toyo AT II 32" tall vs 305/55/20 is 33" tall I have plenty of room for a taller tire but the width on a +20 offset is the issue. a +1 would move the rim out 3/4" and I'd have no rubbing. There are other guys running 305/55R20 MT's on a 0 or +1 offset with 2" level and no rubbing on this forum.
  7. Shouldn't rub with +0 Offset. My +20 offset rubs very slightly at full lock because they set in 3/4" and hit the sway bar.
  8. I've read a lot of comments about how the 3.08 gears are slow. I have a 14 Sierra with 3.42's and a 07 Suburban with 6.0L, 4speed (4L65e) and 4.10gears. I prefer the 5.3L 6speed 3.42 over the 4 speed 4:10 gears. I put this spreadsheet together to clear the air on this subject because I see how often it comes up. In summary the 6L80 tranny with 3.08 gears should feel very similar to a the 4L60/4L65 4speed tranny with 4:10 gears!! Gear for gear up to 5th gear for OD ---> Just don't use 6th gear! You still have a better setup than the older 4 speed trucks. The 6 speed and 8 speed transmissions are changing the game when it comes to delivering both power and economy.
  9. Yes a 0 or +1 should work for a leveled truck with 33" tall tire. Would set 3/4" out further.
  10. Before Center Caps were installed:
  11. Here's another (Bronze Alloy Metallic)
  12. Shop didn't have the correct locking lugs at the time (Too Long) I've since gone back and had the correct lugs installed and center caps are now on the wheels.
  13. Installed OEM Look alike running board kit I found on Ebay for $229. Would have preferred to go NFAB but my young kids would have a tough time with that style.
  14. Finally have been able to add custom wheels and tires to my Sierra. My SLE came with 17" wheels IMO way too small for this size truck. Finally looks the way I imagined a new truck should. Fuel Maverick D537 20x9" +20 offset with Toyo A/T II 305/50R20 XL (load rated 120 speed S). These are not LT Tires and save weight and ride very smooth. The center caps haven't been installed waiting for the correct lug nuts. Pics:
  15. Nice work. I also used an aluminum spacer kit from ebay for my level. Installed and had alignment done. Be sure you don't skip the alignment.
  16. I did the 2" level with an eBay kit for $37 made from aluminum. Worked out well. I am trying to figure out what wheels and tires would look best on this truck now.
