  1. im chill as can be. i was correcting your mistake, and used caps to emphasize important points. hopefully with the correct information provided, others will get the desired results. it's way too early for me as far as feedback goes on issues, but i dont see any issues happening. they're just two spacers, with no moving parts. the only thing that rough country really recommends is that you get an alignment , as well as re-check hardware to be sure it's tight. im pretty happy with the way it installed (easily, no fit and finish problems) and would recommend it.
  2. absolutely NOT. your logic is flawed. a 2.5" spacer kit will put the front 2.5" above STOCK ANGLES no matter how high or low the rear is. front suspension ball joints have no relativity to how the rear of the truck sits. a 2" kit will put it 2" above stock angles. theres no debating this.
  3. no problem. i'll try to get a few here or send you a few in a PM, within the next couple of days!
  4. thank you, appreciate it. black rims aren't for me, and im happy i didnt go that route. i was getting about 19 combined mpg, probably around 16.5 now maybe a tick higher if i compensate for the tire diameter change. the -12 to me is about where i'd like it, i didnt want the tires and wheels to be inboard like the stock setup was. i havent thoroughly checked sheetmetal clearance, but besides rubbing in reverse at full lock on the felt liner, and a tiny hair at full lock in forward, i think i have pretty good clearance. ill try and check, and report back with an actual number.
  5. very little difference if you ask me, if anything i would attribute any ride change in mine due to going with a stiffer tire from what i i had.
  6. fuel boost 18x9, -12 offset wrapped with toyo mt 33x12.50r18
  7. I finally got the leveling kit, wheels and tires on my truck over the last week. specs are below: RC 2.5" leveling kit, front only wheels :fuel boost 18x9, -12 offset tires: toyo MT 33x12.50r18 height before leveling and on stock 265/65/18 front: 36 1/8 rear: 38 7/8 after leveling, and with 33x12.50r18: front: 39 3/8" rear : 39 1/2" as far as the install of the RC kit, i did it at home by myself, with just basic wrenches and sockets, and it took less than two hours to install. real simple, and gave me no problems. anyone who has any basic mechanical knowledge and a basic tool set should be able to perform this install in their driveway or garage with no issue. love the way the truck sits now. as far as rubbing, i have a little bit at full lock in reverse against the felt inner fenderwell, which i'll probably just zip tie back. it's pretty minor rubbing. very very little rubbing going forward at full lock, i'll have to get some help to determine where it's coming from, or search for rub marks. no noticeable ride harshness noted, but definitely lost some mpg. guess thats what happens when you go from a sissy 5 ply p rated tire, to a 10 ply mud tire thats taller and wider anyway, here are the pics. tried to get identical before/after shots.
  8. my '14 4x4 doublecab with the 5.3 and 3.08's has averaged 20.5 mpg in mixed driving over the 4500 miles i've had it. i commute 38 miles each way to work daily, with about 30 being semi flat land, and the last 8 uphill. on just flat land driving i have been able to average as high as 21.8 mpg on longer drives.
  9. i believe you could, as the adjustable shocks themselves just have a ring that allows adjustment on the shock body itself, where the spring mount sits.
  10. we're the same height, and im in pretty good shape, so i should be good.. but like your situation, the girlfriend might not appreciate the difference in height LOL.
  11. i installed a set of AMP research powersteps just on tuesday, for my mother's '14 crewcab. she got the plug 'n play version (i told her i didnt want to mess with popping door panels) and the total install took me 4.5 hours from the time i opened the cardboard box it came in, until the time the install was 100% complete. GREAT product, easy install (i only took 4 hours because i was in absolutely no kind of rush, and wanted the installation to be really clean and neat) and everything works as advertised. very well built too. i absolutely will be purchasing a set for my '14 doublecab after it's lifted. i would recommend these to anyone who wants a high quality, USA made step that hides away very very well when they're not in use. well worth the hefty price tag. the only thing i would do differently from their instructions is to run the wiring before the motors/idler arms/steps, only because i did it in my home garage, on a creeper, rather than up on a lift. for me it was much easier to do the passenger side with the wiring first (as opposed to me doing the driver's side steps first, then wiring) but other than that, it's a very simple installation.
  12. thank you! i'm specifically looking at fuels in either 18 or 20" size, probably 18x9" so im trying to figure out which offset i want to go with once i'm ready to buy. nice looking ride! how is it getting in and out of with the 35's and 6" kit on it?
  13. awesome looking truck! do you remember the offset and width of your wheels?
  14. double post.. sorry!
