    I agree, there are 51 pages of this mess, and I'm one of the dummies, that tried to let dealer fix and ended up with a ding in my left rear door at the dealer, did the hose clamp over a year ago and no more problems, and if it ever loosen up, I'll just retighten ........................I like ..............DIY

    I took my 2014 in for the repair, and there was no change it shifted turning out of the parking lot, all I got was a ding in the right rear door, that was not there before I left it I had the writer to walk around the truck and look before I left, and check, and there was none, and now they are saying it was there when I brought it in, I had it fixed, and waiting for small claims court to handle it, but the only way I would take my truck back to Tuscaloosa motors, is if the engine fell out, I did put the clamps and rubber fix and now no problems, wish I had done it first before letting them ass up my truck....................If they came out with a real fix I wouldn't take it back............

    If GM is using the hose clamp fix they should have to pay the guy on this site for using his idea............

    I did the hose clamps fix on my 2014 chevy a few days ago, and just got to drive it today, and seat movement is gone, after it stayed in Tuscaloosa Chevy, dealer 3 days for their fix which was worse when I got it back than it was when I left it there, not counting the scratch they put on the right rear door, and the service manger said it looked like a real old scratch to him I ask how old he said looks to over a year, told him the truck was only 4 months old, but any way, gonna have it fixed and let small claims court take care of that, but the guy that came up with this fix should get something for this it is so easy and I'm a very old man.............just saying....

    All this is news to me, but I guess at seventy years old I'm home at night, didn't know my 2014 truck had lights, think I go out tonight and turn them on and see if they work.............maybe since Alabama is not playing today...........and maybe I won't not gonna drive at night any way..........oh to be young and know what you kids are talking about all these diff. light bulbs to change out.......makes my head spin.........

    I know the seat is not gonna fall out, but it fells that way anyway my pucker string is getting tired of staying pucked up all the time while driving it.........

    Took my 2014 in last wednesday for soft ware up dates, they checked and repaired seat keep truck three days, seat is worse than it was before they fixed it, scratched the rear passager door, soft ware updates killed my fuel milage, waiting on phone call to see what they are gonna do about the door, knowing the cal will never come, will have to go back out there, my truck was running good, should have put the hose clamps on and left it alone, if you want your truck tore up take it to Tuscaloosa Alabama, Chevy Dealer...........Putting the hose clamp fix on tomorrow............
