  1. Ryan has. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/171035-rawyzfs-2015-silverado-z71-build/page-1 I've got mine sitting in my room, should be putting them on in a couple of weeks. Sooner if the damn state would give me my tax return within 90 days but apparently that's just asking too much. The welds are rather "meh" even from someone as inept as myself on welding it doesn't look good when you've been staring at professional tig welding fabs for days on end reading about prerunners in the last month. That said, as long as they don't leak i don't think i'll care. I couldn't justify 1300$ for pipes. Especially when that will get me Kings.
  2. Was every day driving bad?
  3. I've gotten to where i adore the sound of a cam. Though watching some videos about it makes me question whether it would be a viable upgrade for a daily driver or not. I wouldn't want to lose my low end torque in any scenario but would want the upper end gains of a larger cam.
  4. Any plans to go further than the Bilsteins? If so, grab a spacer kit and save for something nice. If not i still recommend the Bilsteins over a spacer kit, though some will disagree with me. Major issue with the Bilsteins cost wise is you have to use the OEM springs and most of us don't have spring compressors so this ends up in you taking the truck to a shop somewhere. As of right now i should have my kings by the end of may and will likely put my Bilsteins up for sale, with the OEM springs still on them.
  5. Posted for sound. Idk why but i wish i had 3" pipe piped all the way back from the muffler. Bothers me now looking at my tip from the side that it's this skinny looking tailpipe merging to a larger tip.
  6. Went down our turn road today with a couple of washed out spots at 55, they still handle very well all things considering. I'm interested to see how much different the kings and upper control arms are going to be. My brother road with me and said it was extremely noticeable over his OEM shocks with a spacer leveling kit.
  7. Hell since then and doing some reading i think i'm going with King 2.5 OEMs and BajaKits UCAs, then down the road add their chase kit leaf package and king shocks as well. Would give me 9" of wheel travel. I might consider some other control arms if they would squeeze out another inch which would put me at an inch behind a mid travel kit on a 4WD. Hindsight is 20/20 but had i had it to do over again, i would've put a spacer kit on to clear my tires and save up for what i'm looking at now. I don't see why not. Though i can't comment on how it would ride on the back side with different shocks. Probably be okay.
  8. I haven't though i'm betting they don't measure at 12" Probably 11.something.
  9. I will say the 295/70/17 RT seem thinner than the 295/70/17s MT my cousin runs. Though they're by no means skinny. They're right at 12" wide least according to Toyo's specs. Still running mine at 35psi BTW as well.
  10. There's 20s somewhere in these 251 pages cause
  11. After a good bit of thought i think this time next year i'm going to shoot for Bajakits chase kit or something similar. I had this idea of a full length long travel stuck in my head after school but after doing some extensive reading. For a daily driver and 4WD at that, it's just too much to undertake with what little knowledge i have at the moment. Plus the labor to install something like that would drive the cost above 10K. For 3K or so i can get King Coilovers and some new UCAs and get about 9" of wheel travel. More than enough for my needs and much more practical. If i could swing it this summer i would do so but it's not going to happen. Headers will probably go on in a week or two along with a tune and res delete.
  12. No idea when i'll get em put on. Friend of a friend says he'll do it for a couple hundred. Which isn't bad, but then i've got to take it to the muffler shop, let them weld it and cut the resonator off. Probably a couple of weeks.
  13. Sparky, have you Dyno'd that thing with Twin Turbos?
  14. lol I tagged my cousin who's also into trucks with a status of that. I told him that's the sound I wanted. To which he replied "so you want 800hp?" Yes. That is correct. Lol I'd kill for my truck to sound like that. I really want that Baja kits prerunner kit. And honest to God I don't have any real reason to want it other than just to have that capability. Just see a horrible road and go WOT down it laughing. Though I imagine it takes some immense skill to drive that way.
  15. TSP Headers and Y-pipe on the way!
  16. Headers on the way!
  17. Not usually a fan of big wheels or chrome, but that truck looks sensational! Nice job
  18. Maybe it's just me but honest to God if i could get away with it, this is the sound i would want lol. Maybe not for an every day commute but if that isn't music to everyone's ears...well then i'm tone def.
  19. You can clamp it Ryan is running clamps i believe. At the end of his video he shows the muffler and it's clamped.
  20. Method NV machined face 17x8.5 Thankyou sir! That's the only part i'm on the fence about. I used to note like any of the chrome but it looks pretty good with the wheels. Then again i want that SCA Sierra bumper and a black rear bumper. If i did that i'd likely dechrome it. I do want a bumper that's more low profile so that that the tires are shown more. Hell if the valence that baja kits offers somehow had lights i'd probably pick that thing up and a skit plate.
  21. I need to start saving just to save lol. I'm about to be studying for the DAT again in a month though and will likely trying and swing headers or a tune before i take it.
  22. If only i had the SCA bumper and my D2s in would look much better. If the state would ever get my tax return finished i'd could fast track headers. I have a friend of mine locally that everyone says is a good tuner and will do a custom tune for 350$ so i might just do that. Then the next tune is free after i get the upgrades.
  23. I can get some. Personally i would go with the Bilsteins over those ranchos. But i'd go with 6112s or coilovers if i had it to do over again.
  24. DB+ does come with a muffler. I was simply saying you can't buy Corsa's mufflers separately. You either buy their exhaust systems or don't. I say XR1 over the S-type simply because it's so much cheaper. Like 700-800$ cheaper. I think XR1 is potentially louder than the S-type. To my understanding the XR1 is loud.
