  1. It's not what I have done but it's what I will be doing. If all goes well this weekend my truck will be completely finished and ready for Line-X either next week or next! Getting really excited to see the results. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  2. I'm a network systems engineer at a fortune 500 company. My parents don't pay for squat hence my student loans. They did help a few times while i was in school and broke or between jobs. But thats been a couple years now. Damn that looks awesome! Post some pictures once installed. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  3. Not really, I was never supposed to have student loans. Instead my father decided not to cosign and now I have monthly student loan payments of $1700 which then go to $2400 in November. No, just landed a good job. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  4. Going to use the money to pay down student loans. Basically my dad will match me dollar for dollar when I pay back my loans in lump sums. So if I sell my truck for $35k that turns into $70k of paid off student loans. Then once they are gone by next summer I'll be able to buy a house and probably a new Duramax Denali or maybe I'll go the 2018 GT500 route. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  5. I hope so but if not I can return them and I'm honestly just buying them for looks. Once I'm finished with the truck I'm putting it up for sale. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  6. I'm not sure to be honest. I'm buying them from a guy I use to work with a few years ago. He's got his own LED light business or something. I do know everything is plug and play and that he's installed these exact bulbs in a 2015 Denali with projectors. Grand total for everything will be $180 shipped. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  7. Should be pulling the trigger on some 6K high beams, low beams and fog lights this week. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  8. Link to the lights please. I'm looking for high, lows and fogs. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  9. The other link should work as long as you click on it. I think Tapatalk shortens the link so copy and paste doesn't work. But anyways here's the link to thier homepage (https://www.motorsport-tech.com). This is the company that owns BORA, but thier steel truck spacers are called something else. And yes the spacers are wheel and hub centric. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  10. My understanding is you need 1.5" so you don't cut the studs. And honestly there is no research to do. Steel is the only material to use for spacers. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  11. If your spending that much go ahead and get them from these guys (https://www.motorsport-tech.com/specialss/truck/chevy_s). They make them to order and use steel. You DO NOT want aluminum wheels spacers. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  12. That's a good thing since that "lift" is horrible for your suspension. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  13. Nice, are you a member of that nude community in Sarnia? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  14. If you like it then keep it. If it was me I'd paint match the grille and keep the inserts chrome. Think that look good. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  15. Nice! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  16. Awesome! What's considered a steal? Those lights look great tinted. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  17. Thanks man, it looks great! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  18. Yep, sent the guy a picture of it and received a new one two days later. How did the underside of the hood turn out. Could you post a couple pictures? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  19. Looks great! I also see your antenna faded as well. I contacted the Amazon seller a few months back and sent me another one for free. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  20. Nope, no paint on top. I'll be having the whole truck sprayed with color matched line-x. Then the roof and inside the bed will be black. Possibly, I really like the honeycomb. I may grab another grille if I can find a deal on one. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  21. Here are some pictures I took this morning. I haven't installed the front rubber seal like the factory hood. Trying to see if I can find one that attaches via 3M double sided tape. So the front gap make look larger but in person it looks factory. Driver side Passenger side Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  22. Crap I forgot to snag some photos of the fitment with the hood closed. I'll take a couple shots tomorrow as I'm already in bed. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  23. Picked up the truck this evening from the body shop. The hood is now painted on the underside and sides. Now it's just a matter of replacing the fenders with the fiberwerx fenders and fixing the last handful of dents. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  24. Oh ok, well post some pictures! How ugly is your hood latch opening? Mine looks horrible. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  25. You didn't attach the hood properly if the rear of the hood is sitting high. When installing mine my fiance held the hood while I put in all four bolts. Then I tighten them until they were all snug, but not completely tightened. Next, I had her apply direct upward pressure on the front. This caused the rear bolts to loosen so I tightened them fully. And finally tightened the front two bolts fully. After that it sat pretty darn good once I adjusted the front bump stops. My driver side had a larger gap between the hood and the fender. Body shop should have fixed that. I'll know when I pick it up tonight. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
