  1. I'd add a hid retrofit kit in with the headlights.
  2. I can try in the next couple days for ya, but I only have a phone to record it with so the quality might not be great. I have a 6.2l, and the airaid mit intake tube. I did do a decibel reading of stock, intake tube only, then the muffler delete and intake tube at wot. Stock was 70db, intake tube was 73db, and intake/muffler delete was 76 db.
  3. One thing if you get a flutter sound after the delete get under your truck, and make sure the flapper is closing all the way. Mine was stuck in a halfway open position. I freed it up, and now is sounds good.
  4. I paid $42 for mine, and I love it!
  5. Cleaned my windows, and mirrors with Mother's California Gold liquid chrome polish. Best window cleaner ever.
  6. Went with my dad to get his new high country 6.2l. The black leather with grey piping is legit.
  7. I got the muffler delete done today on my 16 Silverado LTZ 6.2l crew cab. It sounds good inside, with very little helicopter sound. I did leave the flapper in. It's a little raspy for my taste I think under light throttle, but sounds pretty good under heavy acceleration. I'm thinking of installing a by pass pipe on the valve like the Borla to help it with better in v4 mode, and to clean up the sound some.
  8. I took some decibel readings in my truck with the stock intake, and afterwards with the MIT tube. Cold start, warm start, gentle take off with shifts at 1500rpm, and cruising had identical db readings. Harder acceleration though did increase the db reading by 3 db over stock. So it's not much louder, but the tone from the engine makes it seem a lot louder.
  9. I did the same with non pressure treated wood, and the rear, and front one covered in black line-x so it looks pretty.
  10. Just wondering out loud here, but I wonder if some of the Chevy shake problems could be from the lugs since some have mentioned that they can cause vibrations?
  11. Today I'm hard wiring my dash cam I got for Christmas. My friend at the dealer said to wire it to misc ignition 39 so it won't mess with the bcm, or ecu. Just a pilot dash cam, but it will do until I get the urge for a high end one.
  12. We use black towels with holes cut to fit around the seat belt holders, and on the back we use a padded cover from Walmart. Works great.
  13. They've lost the second, and had to take the loaner back from us because they sold it.
