I would not reccomend this kit as your cv angles are to severe and they pre maturely fail way before they should.

sweet looking truck, but you need some bigger meats on it. would look sweet with some 40's

bds 6" will net you more lift than the rc 6" lift. Go with the bds and don't look back, it costs more, but you get a way more solid lift and better products.

I would be willing to bet that this might be his problem. The installer that installed his kit probably did a poor job and didn't re route lines and cables. There is alot more involved than just throwing these kits in than people think, proper clearances, etc. Bds is top of the line and i've used lots of there kits with zero issues and on some of my trucks i've pounded on them pretty bad, but i've since out grown those days.

zero issues with mine. 6" bds and 35's, I think alot of the problems are from poor installs or alignment issues. If you don't do it yourself have a reputable shop install your lift and you will be fine. Call bds and ask them about the issues Payton is experiencing and they will tell you they've sold 1000's of these kits with almost zero issues. If something is messed up bds will make it right with you. They have awesome customer service and make the best quality lifts in the business. Pull the trigger on the bds and you won't be disappointed.

ever get your stabila Trax issue straightened out? I have zero issues with mine even on fast sharp turns.

did you re torque your spring clamps after 500 or so miles? Lots of people don't do that and it can magnify axle wrap, but most people hear about axle wrap and then it gets in there head. Axle wrap is hard to get in a 1/2 ton if everything is installed and torqued correctly.

what makes you say you would never go with the blocks? I've never had one issue with lift blocks and I've had lots of lifted trucks.

bds offers an add a leaf, but I bought the zone ones being that they're half the price and the same thing. When I contacted bds they told me on the crew cab trucks need an add a leaf with the 5" block or the rear will sit lower.

I have personally rode in both setups and the fox front coil overs are noticeably stiffer.

I will try and measure it this week, but by looking at it it's 1" or so lower in the back. I just ordered the zone add a leaf last night and i'm hoping it cures this problem. I have the fox 2.0 shocks in the rear. Unless you actually plan on off roading the truck alot the front fox coil overs are a waste of money and they make the truck ride like a rock in the front. The cheaper longer struts that come in the basic kit are plenty good enough for as much offroad driving as your going to do with a truck.

I just installed this kit on the same truck as yours and so far my only complaint is that I wish the rear of the truck sat about an inch higher. I'm thinking of installing an add a leaf to cure this problem, as for the ride I think it is better than stock. The kit is pricey, but very well built and really ties the front of the truck together. I'm running a air raid intake and diablo sport tuner and driving on no interstates i'm still getting 17mpg after its recalibrated. Moto metal mo970 20by 10's with mickey thompson deegans 35by12.50 awesome tires and very little noise for the size of the lug. I hope this helps you out.
