I am new to this site. I want to start adding my input to the vibration issues that I just started noticing. I am just returning from a road trip; Grand Rapids, MI to Gulf Shores, AL. I had around 4700 miles on the truck before I left. I will have more than 7000 miles when I get home.
I normally drive to work, around 15 miles, each way, at 70 mph. I noticed some vibration and told the dealer about it when I took it in for an oil change and rotation before the road trip. The dealer did a road force balance and said that one of the wheels was out by 1/2 ounce. Up until this trip I was attributing the vibration to a certain stretch of highway.
The vibration is very noticeable at 72 mph and up. Magnitude increases with speed. I took videos of my water bottle shaking around in the console. My wife complained about the vibration is the steering wheel, making her hands and fingers numb.
I emailed my dealer from Gulf Shores, AL, and the Service Manager gave me a call later in the day. He said that he wants me to bring the truck in on Monday, after work. He will give me a loaner while he takes it out with the vibration analysis equipment.
Overall, I liked the truck on this trip (mileage, handling, power, etc..), but the vibration was definitely a sour note to it all.
I will post what the Dealer finds.
