  1. I did what the other post suggested, went to someone other than my dealer that had a road force machine and watched them do it with a printed receipt for me, all 4 under 15
  2. ELRIP has the best advice Someone else here changed rims and tires, I did the same now have 275/60/20 KO2s instead of the 22" stock setup I didn't have vibrating issues but could feel booms and minor buffeting Now buffeting almost non existent and booms not nearly as bad, huge improvement to me love driving the truck again and didn't have to have my roof ripped open yet
  3. Great update. Dealer did it? Any charges? What's your distinction between booming and buffeting? I assumed people used buffeting to refer to repeated booms vs just once or twice ie on a bumpy road, the series of booms = buffeting?
  4. Pretty sure not being applied, or if they are then the bows come undone quickly Have been test driving lots of 2016s, most have the buffeting just in varying amounts
  5. I am going full aftermarket (smaller) wheels and (bigger) tires plus more sturdy front/rear sway bars Rethinking the sway, wouldn't a stiffer suspension make the buffeting worse? My initial thought was it would tighten it up so (hopefully) minimizing what's transmitted to the body Thoughts?
  6. Can someone list what you'd have to do to re-attach the bows to the roof? I'd like my independent to look it, he's way more diligent than my dealer
  7. Maybe a dumb question. How exactly do you feel them through the roof? Is it really that thin?
  8. Eligible for a buyback/lemon process
  9. Can you make the Facebook group public, would be helpful for media, whoever Seems to be unnecessarily restrictive if you require log-in unless I'm missing something
